Samantha Hallenus has participated in the Metairie Art Guild and the Louisiana Watercolor Society. She has placed in Member's Shows for both groups for watercolor paintings. She has participated in Art Fest at the Louisiana Children's Museum, as a demonstrator. She has been selected to participate in the past in the Louisiana Arts & Artists Guild's Shows and St. Tammany Art Association Shows. Her watercolor "Flowers To Brighten the Day" was selected by the Keyes Gallery in Missouri for one of their juried shows.

She was selected to participate in the Recycle 4 the Arts - Worn Again Project 2008. Most recently her photographs were selected as finalist in the 2009 Louisiana Ren Fest's Art Contest. Two of her painting were selected into the LWS juried show at Oak Street Gallery in Hammond, LA.
