Claíomh Solais (The Sword of Light), was the sword of Nuada, leader of the Tuatha de Danann. In legend, the sword was irresistible and had the power to cut his enemies in half. It is one of the four treasures of Ireland (the others being the Spear of Lugh, The Dagda's Cauldron and the Stone of Fal).

This rapier still bears the hand of a former wielder.

This hair rapier is built upon a stainless steel stick. Its hilt is wrought with silver pewter filigree, the handle and hilt made from silver and stainless steel crested with a gleaming orb of silver. It has an overall length of 6.5 inches and a usable length of 5 inches. On it's hilt is a silver hand.

Although the hilt and handle look rugged, the stick should be handled by the shaft, just like any other hair stick. The stainless steel sticks are hollow, making them very strong and very lightweight. They can be used in wet hair, oiled hair, and are perfect for thick hair that’s prone to breaking wood or plastic sticks.
