Autumn's Bounty - REAL Leaf Necklace

Description

This elegant necklace features a real birch leaf that's been preserved in copper. Surrounded by red and brown jasper that I have hand wrapped in copper wire. This necklace is closed with a copper lobster clasp on an adjustable chain that allows the necklace to be anywhere from 18 inches long to 30 inches long. Perfect to wear to holiday parties or an elegant and unforgettable hostess gift! Handmade by me and decorated with one of my "made with love" tags at the clasp.

Spiritual properties of this piece:

The birch tree is an ancient symbol of protection, cleansing and rebirth. The birch is also sacred to the Celtic goddess Brigid. Birch wreaths are traditionally placed above the beds of pregnant women and baby cradles constructed out of birch to honor Brigid who especially protects pregnant women and children. A very good tool in protection, rebirth and new beginnings. Birch is a long standing favorite of fairies!

Jasper has been revered at least since the time of the ancient Egyptians. The ancient Egyptians wore jasper scarabs as amulets as the stone was believed to increase sexual energy. According to the Bible, jasper was a direct gift from God and would be the first foundation stone of the New Jerusalem. Also, both Indians in Asia as well as Native Americans see jasper as a magical rain stone and also a powerful healing stone. Use Jasper as a powerful source of grounding and balance.

Copper can stimulate the flow of energy and hence move Psychic or Mental energies thereby helping the wearer overcome lethargic tendencies, resulting in a more vitalized person with amplified thoughts.
