Playing around with the browns in my big box of colors, I mimicked a shade of brown called "Fallow." That's the background color. It's not gold, it's not khaki, but it's not honey-brown either. Fallow is a delightful combination of them all! An appropriately coordinating/contrasting chocolate brown was drybrushed over the impression.
