Recipe Cards- Handwritten Plastic Covered Foam Recipe Book

This item is inspired by not only my mother who loved to make Christmas cookies for the whole family, but by my own ideas to improve the baking of Christmas cookies for when I make those platters for family members and friends as well.

First of all- let me note that most of these recipes came off dirty pages of recipes my mother had- so the sources are really unknown. She used a Betty Crocker cookbook a lot when I was younger so some might have come from there.

Now- don't you hate having to search through your cookbooks when making those time of the year cookies? And can you stand to have flour, sugar, eggs, etc getting all over the place and making your recipes while you're following them hard to read?

Well- this is a little booklet of 8 handwritten holiday cookie favorites from when I was younger- all in one place! They are written on index cards and then glued to foam. I then wrapped each recipe in a plastic bag and sealed the plastic enough to make sure no messes get directly on the recipe. That way if something drips on them- you can easily wipe them off! All are then hole punched and tied together with a big red bow with a foam title page "Cookies". :)
