Lightning Bolt Cushion Cover PDF Pattern 20 x 20 inch

Description

Spruce up your home & use up those smaller pieces of fabric you've collected with this cool abstract patchwork cushion cover. The front panel has a lightning bolt design in "crazy patchwork". The back has a "mitred" corner construction to give a lovely soft edge.

The pattern and 4 pages of clear instructions will be emailed to you as an electronic file within 24 hrs of payment. The accurate, computer-drawn patterns will print out on your home printer at the correct scale, ready to tape together & cut. This project is suitable for even relatively beginner sewists.

The cover is designed to snugly fit a 20" x 20" cushion insert.

You can also use this pattern to make co-ordinating plain cushion covers, without the patchwork detail.

This design would suit any medium-weight woven fabrics, such as cotton, linen, silk, brocade, jacquard, drill, denim, etc. A fantastic way to use vintage or reclaimed fabrics!

**You will need:
-2 contrasting fabrics for front panel. Background= approx. 60cm x 60cm. Lightning Bolt= approx. 30cm x 20cm
-fabric for lining front panel, approx.60cm x 60cm.
-Fabric for back panel approx. 60cm x 60cm
-Closed-end nylon zip with 3-4mm width teeth, at least 30 cm length.
-20" x 20" cushion insert**

tools required: domestic sewing machine, scissors, iron, chalk or pencil, pins.
