Two Ferns Cup

Description

This listing is for one tumbler/ juice/ water/ wine/ tea glass. This cup is made of dark stoneware clay fired to cone 6. It is glazed with a mottled blue glaze that has a smooth matt finish. The glaze varies from a light blue to dark speckled streaking. Tan shows where the glaze was thinner.

The outside of the cup has been textured with real leaves. After wards the cup was painted and rubbed with an iron oxide. This intensifies the veins of the leaves. All colors are permanent and waterproof.

It holds 1 and 1/2 cup of liquid. It stands 5 and 1/2 inches tall. The rim spans 2 and 5/8 inches across and the foot tapers to 2 and 1/4 inches across. At the widest section the cup measures 10 inches around. The leaves on the outside are staghorn sumac, eastern redbud, christmas fern,nettle, columbine,intermediate wood fern, morning glory, and blackberry.
