"Butterfly Stryx" is an original 5 x 7 acrylic painting on canvas board of a strange owl creature on a purple glowing night. Named for the mythological vampire bird (strix) this is a benevolent creature, purple in hue, who flits about on fiery butterfly wings beneath the light of a crescent moon. Waxy white mushrooms emerge from the darkness and star shaped golden flowers bloom in the bushes as stars twinkle in the background.

This is an original painting on flat canvas board in a size easy for framing! Great addition to a fantasy themed children's room or any colorful or psychedelic art collection.
