Niobium is hypo-allergenic and corrosion resistant. When anodized, the colors are bright and vibrant, they simply can't be matched by anything.

All rings are cut with a .008" blade using a slotting saw and jig. This means only a very small amount of material is removed which gives you a more round ring with a parallel cut. After the rings are tumbled, we anodize them. This means two things for you. 1) even the cut ends have color and, 2) consistent color. Anodization for niobium is an electrical process that forms an oxide layer on the ring. This oxide layer refracts light and let you see color. When wire is anodized then wound into rings, you run the risk of bending and changing that oxide layer, and thus the color.
