Lanvin
Description
Jeanne Lanvin started as an apprentice milliner at age 16 and worked in hats before becoming a couturière some 10 years later. One of the most influential designers of the 1920s and '30s, Jeanne Lanvin's skilful use of intricate trimmings, virtuoso embroideries and beaded decorations in clear, light, floral colors became a Lanvin trademark.
This Lanvin inspired 1920's headband is a simple wide grosgrain ribbon that can be tied in the back, and worn in many ways. It can be worn in the true flapper style down on your forehead, or in a more modern style pushed back on top.
It is embellished with a gorgeous beaded piece and a tuft of imported emu feathers.
One size fits all
This piece has been feature in offbeat bride a few times, the top photo is the lovely brider herself in her headpiece.
