Blue Grey Moustache Mirror

Look into this little mirror and -- ta da! -- your reflection is wearing a blue-grey moustache.

I have carefully hand painted the moustache onto a pre-cut mirror using a special acrylic finished with varnish. I was inspired by a 1960's advertisement. My aim is to make objects that are unique, beautiful and amusing at the same time.
This mirror is part of a series. Each mirror is is one-of-a-kind, signed and numbered at the back. It is circular and measures 7 inch (17.5 cm) across. A sturdy adjustable hanging device is attached to the back. Please note that the edges of these mirrors are not always perfectly cut: this adds to their charm!

Hang it on the wall or lean it up either by itself or grouped with a collection of objects and pictures. It would look intriguing in an adults’ room but it would also make a charming addition to a children’s one.

Each mirror is lovingly wrapped in special Melbourne paper. It is then protectively packaged in an Australia Post approved box with lots of bubble wrap, both of which can be re-used by the recipient. ;)
