On chubby house lane there stands a row of chubby little houses all in a row. Each one has its' own personality and no two are alike. They are as imperfect as they are wonderful.

This is another in a series of little holiday houses.

This is chubby house number 10 - By this light

Each house has snippets of vintage text from the Six Plays of Shakespeare.

I found what was left of this book in a thrift store and the girl at the register couldn't understand why I wanted to purchase it.

These little house are made from recycled packing styrofoam and paper mache and have many layers of acrylic paints for color and depth. Prismacolor pencils were used for some details. They have also been clearcoated for a shine and for protection.

This little guy is 4 1/2" tall x 2 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" deep.
Two story Crimson red house with snow on the ground, lights on in and outside the house, shingled roof and a wonderful snowman with his carrot nose on the side.

They do come signed, dated and numbered. The numbers are totally assigned at random.

I think Shakespeare would have approved.
