These metal clips are made to last and grip fabric and straps so that children can not remove them. The clip has a plastic center that protects clothing and fabrics. They are guaranteed not to rust. This is the only clip that my daughter could not remove and throw on the ground.

The snap end that holds pacifiers and toys is strong enough to retain these items until you decide to remove them. I do not use Velcro because it can easily be undone and the pacifier/toys end up on the ground.
