Flower Serving Bowl - Autumn Harvest glaze, 8 cups

Description

This stoneware serving bowl was thrown and altered into an organic 'flower'shape. It is glazed in Autumn Harvest, which has a Semi-matte White outside, and spectacular autumn colors flowing into a Turquoise waters inside. My intention was to capture the riot of Autumn color surrounding a tranquil aqua blue lake. The bowl is 3 1/4" at the base, opens to 10 1/4" at the rim, and is 4 1/2" H. It is very light, and perfectly balanced. It will hold a generous 8 cups of salad, snacks, rice, etc, or about 10 pieces of medium sized fruit.

I love how the bright, spectacular inside colors are offset by the soft white exterior.

All of my glazes are formulated for maximum durability, and this piece will be as rich and glossy 100 years from now.
