Meet the Football Star, ready to get out on the field and play his little stuffed heart out!

He is approximately 12 inches tall, from the top of his helmet to the bottom of his cleats. He's made using worsted weight yarn, so if you'd like a larger or smaller football player adjust accordingly, in fact, I bet he'd be cute in thread, though it takes a brave crocheter to try that!

He can be crocheted fairly quickly, and he can be done in time to satisfy those football fans in your life.

This pattern is geared more towards an advanced beginner, though I'm rather confident that a beginner could tackle it, as I tend to be very detailed and have included images showing most steps. When I first started making amigurumi dolls from patterns I had a hard time understanding certain instructions, in creating this pattern I've tried to address the issues that I had difficulties with and make the easier to understand for newbies. The Football Star's pattern is in .pdf format so you will need Adobe Reader to open the document and print it.

The pattern is 8 pages long with very detailed instructions and 15 images to help you out.
