Four Times a Charm Lap Quilt
Size 48” by 56”

This Quilt reminds me of a quilt you would find in a trunk in the attic of your Grandma or Great Grandma's house. Very Lovely with a touch of Vintage Charm.

I used fabrics from four different Moda collections, Patisserie, Allspice, Fig & Plum and Aster Manor, for the patchwork. There are over 160 different fabrics in this Quilt; a true Scrappy Patchwork.

I backed it with the Patisserie Honore Marzipan; Very Pretty Cream Floral.

Sandwiching cotton batting between the layers and machine quilted in a free hand meandering. I finished the edges with a traditional hand stitched binding around the edges.

After completion I machine washed this Quilt on gentle cycle using a gentle laundry detergent and tumbled dried on low heat. I love the way the fabrics and batting shrink up around the quilting stitches giving it that nice Vintage Look.

Pictures do not capture the true beauty of my Quilts. When you see one of my Quilts in person and hold it in your hands; you will know you have a Treasure.
