Queen Anne's Lace linoleum block print
Description
This original block print was inspired by my collection of pressed flowers. The Queen Anne's Lace pressed flower I worked from was passed onto me from my mother, and is over 20 years old. I could not think of a better way to pay tribute to this delicate beauty, than by creating a block print in its likeness.The print area measures approx. 4"x6", with the overall paper size measuring 5"x7". The paper used is a 100lb acid free paper. It was printed using an oil based green ink.
The piece will be signed and dated, and is protected within a clear cellophane envelope. It will be mailed flat within two pieces of cardboard.
Each block print is drawn, carved from linoleum and hand printed by myself K.Nydam.
