Description

This is a set of 8 matching Fiber Care tags with ribbon ties. Attach them to your lovely handknits, telling the lucky recipient what fibers you used, and how to properly care for them!

This design, which matches my "Knit Rodeo" Note Card & Postcard gift sets, was inspired by a little ole black-and-white snapshot taken in Ada, Oklahoma in 1949. This cowgirl was a performer in Roy Rogers' professional rodeo tour, I'm told.

How I Make Them

I restored and altered a copy of the vintage photo, and lightly spot colored it in deep blues shaded to purple. Beside the cowgirl is the text "Hand Knit". I've added a matching blue satin ribbon tie.

On the back, I'll print Fiber Care text as shown here, reading "Knitted for You!", and "Fiber Content:", and "Fiber Care", with the image of a ball of yarn with knitting needles.

I hand-cut each tag to measure approximately 3-1/2 inches x 2 inches, and attach a matching ribbon tie. (The ribbon may vary slightly from that shown here, but will always be blue or purple unless you request otherwise.)

I print my design on heavyweight card stock, using a combination of ink jet pigmented inks for brilliance, and color laser toner for permanence.

Custom Text Choices

As I create each set of tags individually to your order, you can also choose alternate text, such as "Happy Birthday", "Be My Valentine", "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" ... or any alternate wording you'd like. Just let me know in Notes to Seller, or email me.
