Beautiful glossy, deep wine color with two leaved flowers for decoration and a deep brown pin-stripe accent. Very durable for use as an elegant serving piece, or a dish for holding jewelry and watches on your dresser top, or holder for potpourri in the bath, or...

This is one of few forms that I make from a drape mold of my design. Each one has an added foot and is individually altered. I decorate each with a unique design, sponged and trailed slip (the clay version of cake-decorating), swirls and dots (and in this case birds too!) of shallow texture and relief patterns.

Elegant and intended for your use and enjoyment much like Grandma’s dishes, handmade pottery can need (and happily, deserves) a little more love to prolong its life than contemporary manufactured ware. While durable and microwavable, hand washing is recommended.

The clay and glazes are lead-free and food safe.
