A Single Purple Rose Vintage Altered Intaglio Glass Cameo Pendant

Originally a vintage silver metal filigree frame around a clear glass beveled intaglio cameo, I altered it to become something with just a wee bit more panache !

Back of the intaglio was surrounded with golden stars & glitter & covered with purple silk. A few coatings of polyurethane give the silk an almost waterproof finish.
The silver metal frame was hand sponged with rich gold & metallic purple permanent paints. Then, using black embroidery floss, I handwove a selection of beads ( some plastic, some czech glass ) and more golden stars.
Finished with a purple anodized aluminum rose.

Threadwork on back of the frame was also covered with polyurethane to prevent any future fraying.

Comes with a removable slip-knotted ribbon.

-Total length (ribbon & pendant): 17" or 43.2cm.
When shortened it is 11.5" or 29.2 cm.
-Pendant is just under 2.5" or 6.4cm. long x just under 2" or 5.1cm. wide
