From our registered flock, this is baby lamb fleece, 'BAA's fall clip. Her mom, 'Jill' gives us the darkest and softest fleece, with little to no cocchdu. The luster and color on this fabulous!

ABOUT OUR FLOCK
The fleece is grown here. Andrea's flock of registered (ABWMSA) Black Welsh Mountain Sheep are humanely raised on Certified Naturally Grown pastures in Hedgesville WV.

ABOUT OUR HOMESPUN
Andrea works with the freshly sheared fleece which she then picks, washes with organic detergents and cards all at the farm. Andrea then spins the fiber into yarn using drop spindles or her spinning wheel.

Please note, this is farm produced - I like to leave a tad of lanolin in the fiber, there is always a piece of the farm (vm) and we do have animals that live here ;-)
