Inside features a drawstring "pocket" with no bottom and a flat pocket that measures 5.5" square.

The top secures with a button, and the fit is such that the button is a little redundant. The top stays closed pretty well while unbuttoned.

There is a second button below the main one and it is broken, but I left it on because it is sewn on so well that it is staying in place.

The strap is adjustable.

When we took this on a little hike for the photo shoot, I found it to be very comfortable to carry. It held my Canon A540, a water bottle, and my sunglasses. There was plenty of space leftover for wallet, keys, cell phone, etc.

The numbers on the front are the serial number. Everything in the Swiss army has a serial number.
