Hand made felt bag - Wine, Purple and teal

Description

This hand bag is approximately 9 x 9 inches with a handle that can be shortened to fit. Pull one end of the handle through the bag, make a new knot and cut. It has a blue bead to serve as a button to keep the bag closed.

My felted items are handmade felt - not knitted and shrunk. Not that there's anything wrong with that - I'm just too slow of a knitter. I like to feel the felt magically transform from loose fiber to solid felt in my hands. I start with some of my hand dyed roving, add hot water and a little soap and work it until it becomes a hand bag, a hat or whatever I'm making.

Created in a smoke-free (well, tobacco free. Can't say as much for my cooking...) but not pet-free home. Colors may vary with different monitors.
