Alpaca Convertible Fingerless Gloves Mittens with Thumb Flaps, Made to Order, Different Colors Available

My convertible fingerless mitts are selling fast. Here's your opportunity to get a pair of your very own in the size and color of your choice!

I just received a new shipment of 100% Alpaca yarn and have 8 different colors available plus enough Denim Heather for a small pair or to stripe with another color. The last photo is the color chart.

Alpaca is 3X warmer than wool. It's a good alternative for people with wool allergies.

My mitts are crocheted using a tight thermo stitch with ample flap overlap to keep in the warmth. This is why they aren't one size fits most.

I add a loop and button to keep the flap back on each glove when not in use. I take pride in finding just the right buttons to adorn my creations with. I'll let you choose from a selection of buttons if you wish.

The idea for thumb flaps was given to me by a customer after trying to use a pen while wearing her new convertible gloves.

With a flick of your finger you can open the thumb flap and use a pen without removing your gloves. Or pop both thumb flaps and you can text away on your cell!!

If you'd rather have solid thumbs, that's cool. Just let me know.

Alpaca gloves are hand washable.

To custom size a pair for you I'll need you to measure:

*Your Wrist
*From base of palm to tip of middle finger.
*Around the upper palm, over the knuckles, but not including the thumb

I've tweaked my design recently and now make the cuffs about 3.5"(8.9cm) long and extended the fingers a bit to reach the finger joint.
