Beautiful Sterling Pendant with a very 'Retro' feel to it.
It is base on my regular flowers but in a patterned, ordered, regular setting.
The 'Tulip' flower shapes were inspired by an Art Nouveau Design book that I own and the shape of them was adapted for silver.
They were arranged in a pattern which feels very 'modernist' (another one of my favourite jewellery styles.)
It still has an organic, natural feel to it but is definitely more 'Art house' than 'glass house'.
This pendant features a 10mm Amber cabochon as a centrepiece. It is surrounded by 4mm moonstones, handcut Tulip shapes, balled sterling nuggets arranged in an even pattern.
My shop logo of a heart with wings (for all the angels who will wear my jewellery)and the sterling silver standard of .925 were stamped on the back.
The pendant was hung on a good quality, Italian made, Rolo Chain. This chain is fitted and cannot be removed...so if you would like it longer or shorter, please include it in 'message to seller' when you purchase it.
The pendant was heavily oxidized to give the whole piece a vintage...antique look. The higher areas were handpolished to reveal some of the brighter silver and to give the pendant depth.
The silver disk is made from heavy 20 gauge sterling and is 30mm in diameter. This piece feels substantial and extremely good quality......
