This gorgeous dress was created with 3 basic scientific principles in mind:
1) Studies show that when shown 2 pictures of the same woman wearing red in one and any other color in the other, men will stare 6.5 seconds longer at the woman in red.
2) Black is slimming.
3) Women who shop at Glamarita live longer, happier lives.

OK, I made that last one up. . . =)

You are viewing a one of a kind ballgown from Glamarita. This size 2/4 dress is made completely from recycled men's ties. A whopping 34 ties went into the making of this fabulous super fitted gown. This "scientifically recommended" gown which features red and black ties is a one of a kind signature piece from Glamarita. In this particular dress, the ties have been given a slight swirl, so beautiful!
These dresses are perfect for evenings, dances, proms, art shows, cocktail parties and other formal events!! Don't get caught wearing the same dress as the woman next to you!

Measurements: there's some stretch to this dress. . .
Bust: 36"
Waist: 27"
Hip: 36"
Lenghth: 52"-56" depending on length of each tie.
If you happen to be smaller than these measurements, I am more than happy to alter it to fit. =)
Please note: The model shown is 6 feet tall, so unless you are as tall as Jamie, the gown will be longer on you. . .floor length for most of us shorties.

PLEASE NOTE: THE CUMMERBUND SHOWN IN THE PICS IS NOT INCLUDED. If you would like me to make you a custom matching cummerbund using coordinating ties, I will post a listing for you. Cummerbunds can close with hook and eyes or with grommets and ribbon lacing, per your preference.
Also, 3 navy ties sneaked in when I was making this dress, apparently I need better lighting in my sewing room =)
