Hand Spun Merino Wool - Tiffany Glass - 52 yds

Description

Hand spun 100% Merino wool, this yarn is bulky, spongy and super soft. This yarn is made from 2 plies of my own hand dyed roving in the same colors. I love the stained glass designs of Louis Comfort Tiffany, the use of color and line amazes me; this hank was inspired by one of his pieces. Purple blends with a lapis blue and orange-y yellows from a dandelion to a granny smith greenish yellow.

This bulky two-ply could be knit from 2.5 stitches per inch (for a dense fabric) to 2 stitches per inch (for a looser fabric).

These hanks are approximately 51-53yds/46ish m ~4.5 oz/132 g

This yarn would be great for a quick knit hat, neck warmer or warm & bulky mitts.
