VINTAGE MOTHER OF PEARL

Here is a real stunner! This necklace belonged to my aunt who got it from my grandmother. I have had it for over 30 years. So vintage may be an understatement. The necklace is 28" long, it has a hand made mother of pearl flower complete with 2 layers of petals plus leaves. It has matching earrings as you can see in the pictures. The clasp is traditional of the clasps used for such necklaces in the 40s. The centers of the flower on the earrings were missing and I replaced them with some pearls of the same time period.

This necklace and earrings (pierced post) could be worn with just about anything, but it would be spectactular with that little black dress.
