Shopping Cart Cover Sewing Pattern - PDF

Our shopping cart covers are designed to fit over the seat of most grocery shopping carts. Even the big ones that are at warehouse stores! You will never have to worry about what germs you and your child are picking up from touching the cart handle. And no more grumbling when you can't find a cart that has a working seatbelt!

Features:
- Adjustable seatbelt included
- Two straps to attach your child's toys
- Quilt batting between fabric makes it very comfortable!
- Elastic around the exterior to keep the cover in place on the cart
- Leg holes and strap holes are finished with bias tape

This listing is for the sewing pattern only. Use your own fabric and other sewing supplies and make as many as you like.

You will need:
- 1 1/4 yard of two different fabrics
- 2 1/2 yards of low loft batting, or 1 1/4 yards of high loft batting
- 1 package of coordinating colored Extra Wide Double Fold Bias Tape
- 12 feet of 3/8 inch wide elastic
- 1 package 1-inch strapping
- 1 1-inch strap adjustor
- 1 1-inch buckle
- Coordinating colored thread

Other useful items you might need:
- Straight pins
- Chalk pencil or marking pen
- Quilter’s ruler or yardstick
- Iron
