OOAK BamHuey Handspun Yarn - Fruit of the Vine - fingering weight- merino/bamboo

Description

This vine is full of purpley blue fruit, the colorway is rounded out with a bit of green for the leaves. I feel like I am in the middle of grape harvest every time I work with this colorway.

The pictures prove just how much this colorway shifts from purple to blue. The more purple pictures are taken in a light box and are pretty close to real indoor life. The Blue pictures are taken outside in bright sunlight and the yarn realy does look that blue. The mini shawl is knit from Knitspots pattern Casino.

BamHuey Handspun yarn starts from 60% Merino 40% Bamboo fiber that I hand paint with landscape dyes. I have spun this batch into a 2 ply fingering weight at about 17 wpi. Each skein is 4 1/2 oz and 350 yards, a nice amount for lace scarf. Each skein sells for $51.00. Go check out KnitSpot's pattern web site, there are about 6 scarves there that are in my knitting line up that I think would work great with this yarn.

BamHuey Handspun yarn needs to be handwashed with cold water and air dried flat.
