The story of our Solid Syndet Shampoo Bars.

On July 7, 2004, I started getting curious about the differences between a regular shampoo vs. a syndet bar. I was a member of a very large forum at the time & I posed the question to other members there,
"If you're intentionally making a syndet bar, does it have to be for the body or can it be used on the hair like a shampoo bar?".
I already knew quite a bit about different surfactants and their properties, but I knew that there had to be a way to form these ingredients into a solid bar to be used on the hair, with the same results or even better, than a liquid shampoo. So, on July 24, 2004 I started to formulate my 1st solid shampoo bar. In October of 2004, I started working on our solid conditioner bars.

Many people since then have tried to duplicate our own ORIGINAL formula, but none have succeeded.

This is NOT a bar of soap, it is a syndet bar - made using the same ingredients as liquid shampoo's, minus the water but with higher quality ingredients.
