Description
This lovely skein of Romney wool yarn is naturally dyed using cochineal. This skein was mill spun using wool from our sheep with 4oz. to the skein and ~250 yards. Perfect for a small project or combine with one of our other naturally dyed skeins for a larger project. It is pictured with our yellow yarn dyed with daisies.Cochineal is an insect which gives a beautiful rich crimson dye. This insect lives as a parasite on cacti.
