Beer and Honey Handcrafted Soap

This one is my hubbys creation, he had to have something special as well. So we created this together, and it has 2 wonderful skin loving ingredients .........beer & honey.

Beer is made with hops, the properties and benefits of hops become a skin blessing when used as the base for soap. Hops is known as a relaxing herb and that relaxing affect stays with the bar after going through the soap making process. Other benefits to Hops: soothes irritated skin; contains polyphenols thought to account for its anti-bacterial and preservative effects (beer's long life); contains skin-softening amino acids, and it is very moisturizing, the beer makes the soap very creamy and sudsy.

Honey is a natural antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and humectant that draws moisture to the skin.

If you have never tried handmade soaps, you are missing an incredible experience! Since each bar is individually handcrafted, you have the benefit of knowing my soaps are better for your skin than store-bought soaps. Store-bought soaps contain harsh detergents whose main purpose is to strip your skin not only of dirt and grime but of beneficial moisture. Handmade soaps ADD moisturizing emollients and fresh organic products for a pampering bathing experience.

The method of soap making I use is called hot process, which means the lye is fully cooked out of the soap during the process (I make my soap in a large crock pot). It takes about 8-10 hours for the soap to cure, and I allow a few additional days for the soap to harden up enough to ship. Nothing is better than handmade (from scratch) soap!

Each one is sliced by hand ~ actual size and shape may vary, but rest assure these are not tiny slices this is a nice big slice of skin loving soap, about 6 oz. I have several of these bars available. Please contact me if you would like to purchase more than one.

What's in it, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Sunflower Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Guinness Stout, Honey, and Essential Oils of Orange, Litsea Cubea, Grapefruit, and Lime.

To prolong the life of your handmade soaps, please use a soap dish that allows your soap to dry between uses
