Metal Discs from MODERN Salvaged Scrap - Jewelry Findings

50 hand punched metal disks from NON-vintage salvaged metal.

For the outsider artist, the recycling addict or found object lover I offer these to you.

I hand punched all these discs and the holes, then filed and ground off any rough edges. From expired auto and motorcycle license plates, tags and labels, metal tins and cans, name plates, etc. Some qualifies as vintage material in Etsy's eyes but not mine. Scrap from 1980 thru today. All was headed for the landfill. Every piece is from something unwanted, worn out or broken. Some have chippy paint, a bit of rust or a waffled surface. Some are shiny new looking. Charm size.

Various sizes from 3/8 - 1" (9-21 mm) and various colors.
The photos are examples of just some of what I have ready. You will get an assortment of fifty pieces that will probably include:

silver colored (aluminum and steel)
gold colored steel, aluminum and/or brass
5 with writing
reflective white from license plates and red or green on white background
shiny metalic and foiled colors (some were from a laminated sheet over metal, others are just bright tints)
and other misc patterns and colors.

Most have 1/8" holes for hanging, located near an edge. Little ones sometime land in the middle 'cause they are hard for me to see. If the piece already had a hole or rivet, I let it stay as is.

Obviously these are great dangles for jewelry or cool scrapbooking embellishments.
