Whimsical Crows Pendants Handpainted in Fused Glass

Description

Crows are amazing birds. They are smart, they are resourceful, and they are loyal to their mate. Why not celebrate this beautiful creature with a hand-painted crow pendant?

Each crow is first hand-drawn and then hand-painted onto clear glass using glass paint. Placed onto an opaque piece of fusible glass, each piece is then fused at 1465 degrees and annealed slowly for strength. A silver modern bail is epoxied onto the back, adding a clean, modern look.

About 1" square, each crow is different. Different colors are available.

This sculpture is made of one layer of clear glass covered with a layer of carefully cut, ground, and pieced fused glass pieces, topped with design elements of special dichroic glass and stringer to give it depth. Fused at 1465 degrees, then annealed slowly for strength and durability, it is placed in an 8" wrought iron stand, included with the sculpture. The full piece is about 12" x 9" in the stand.
