Teal satin skirt

Description

This is soo swooshy... there are yards of satin to it, in the most lushious of teals..

It is extremely practical, as the waistband is in elasticised jersey, so it is comfy and it adapts to your size.
Also, as the band is wide, and snug, it does not accentuate your hips, the way gathered skirts often tend to do.. the gathering starts low on the hips.

it doubles as a top too, if you have enough bust (at least 85 cm)!!

The jersey also serves to tone down the satin, that can otherwise is a bit "intense".

This way it is extremely wearable, for both a casual or a more dressy outfit. the bottom is profiled with a doubeled band of the same satin, but inside out, so it's opaque, matching the waistband's texture.

the waistband is about 22 cm high, can be won folded over or smooth ot bunched... this will allow you to variate the length of the skirt.

the waistband extends from 70 cm (28 ") to 100 cm (40")

It will fit hips from 88 to about 93 cm (35 to 38 inches) (measured around the hipbone, where the lighter blue is in the photos)

To give you an idea, my measurements (the model) are
hips 36 inches
height 5'7"

all the seams are serged.
