Necklace - Felt Bead and Wood in Seafoam Green

Hand crafted wool felt beads blend with vintage wooden disk beads in this Seafoam Green Necklace.

Length - 20 inches (51 cm)

Felt beads are of graduated size - the largest is approximately 1 1/2 inches (38 mm) in diameter. The smallest ones are approximately 7/8 inch (22 mm) in diameter.

Wooden disk beads are also graduated in size. With one disk bead between felt beads.

Strung on nylon cord and finished with the vintage barrel screw clasp that came on the reclaimed wooden bead necklace.

Felt beads were created by hand by me, in a traditional wet felting from fiber process, using cleaned and carded sheep fleece. Outer layer is fine merino roving. The fiber is rolled, wet, soaped, rolled, thrown, rinsed and rolled some more to form a bead. Not perfectly round, each wool bead, similar to natural pearls as it's own individual shape and character.

Care instructions: Vacuum gently with hand held brush attachment. Do not wear while bathing, swimming etc. This necklace will remain in good shape if kept dry.

Colors do vary on monitors, we have done out best to get the colors as close to accurate as possible on our monitor.

Shipping is first class envelope, Necklace is wrapped in tissue, placed inside a fabric bag (which I also make); padded some more then goes into a mailing envelope for shipping.
