Vintage abalone shell handmade mosaic beads 1970s, oxidized sterling silver


Fabulous whopper beads that we found in the Philippines in the late 1970's embody nature's shimmer and iridescence as only abalone shell can do!

Each of these beads is a little mosaic - made up of hand cut and then carefully assembled little pieces of abalone shell!

These earrings are in essence a 'white' earring but the shell itself shimmers soft shades of turquoise, mint green and violet.
These beads are each approximately 3/4" across and hang effortlessly on handmade oxidized sterling silver pins.
Little oxidized silver bead caps hug these rare beads on each end adding just a bit of texture.
Total length of these earrings is approximately 1" and they will arrive in a little box all ready for gift giving.
