This beautiful "Fairy Face Pin/Knit Necklace Set" would make a truly lovely gift! The little fairy face with her multi-colored fun textured blue hairdo reminds me of a little fairy who lives in a field of bluebells.

The knit necklace and fairy's hairdo are both created from this gorgeous Italian designer yarn. The texture is tuffs of colors in various shades of blue, mixed with a silvery metallic thread. Very exquisite looking. The photos don't do it justice at all.

These sets are such fun as you can wear them in several different ways...wear the fairy pin alone, alongside the necklace, or pin the fairy anywhere on the necklace to achieve your own individual look.

The fairy's face is 100% silk fabric, which I've individually handdrawn, needlesculpted and handpainted. Her eyes and lips have a coat of crystal clear lacquer which gives her a very life-like, 3-dimensional look and shine. The face has been sprayed with a matte finish sealer for protection.

The fairy is wearing a light blue silk flower accented with Swarovski crystals in the center.

The fairy's face and the pin's clasp have been cemented to a circular piece of texturized brass.
