When you type on this stunning and rare 1950s seafoam green Royal typewriter, your inspiration runs wild - and each word you type feels worthy of a Pulitzer Prize. Or, you could always write anonymous love letters or ransom notes with the antique typewriter.This was the final version Royal made of the Quiet De Luxe. It showcases the matte paint, which was intended to reduce any glare from the glossy versions. In some lighting, this typewriter has a blue hint, but I would classify the writing machine to be a seafoam green.
---Condition and Features---
Every button, shift, knob, and cranny works beautifully in this antique typewriter. It has the "magic margin" for which Royal is famous, as well as an ability to switch between red/black/corrective white ink (if you have a tri-color ribbon...this typewriter will come with a new bi-color ribbon). In addition, by pressing the button on the front of the typewriter, the top magically opens to reveal the "touch control," which allows you to adjust how hard you wish to type on the keys.
As an antique piece, the typewriter is in mint aesthetic condition. There is only very minor paint loss on the back, where the typewriter latches into the case.
