My first long, stripey scarf of the season! Again in my favorite yarn, Debbie Bliss's Cashmerino, a cashmere/microfiber/merino blend. Gorgeous, substantial, itch-free. You will want to rub it on your cheek for hours. The combination of blues and greens here is so soothing and (in my humble opinion) exceedingly beautiful. I got so many compliments from people who saw me working on it in various places, you are sure to be the envy of scarf enthusiasts everywhere.

It's a simple, single-crochet pattern, with soft, tickly tassles. Beautiful, simple stripes. A timeless accessory to last you forever. The perfect width and length, truly unisex - long enough to wear fall-in-Chicago style (doubled over, ends pulled through the loop), or winter-in-Chicago style, wrapped around a couple times to cover your ears (see pumpkin demonstrating). This is a hand-wash item, due to the luxe fibers, but if treated with care, it will last many, many years.
