Pugasus dog bowl

Description

No, he's not an angel. He's PUGASUS, the flying pug! You know, from Greek mythology? He was the winged dog? Maybe I'm getting that confused, maybe it was Pegasus, or Cerberus? Well, if there weren't flying pugs in Greek mythology, there should have been. Flying horses are totally lame.

This is one of a series of handthrown porcelain bowls I made with Kentuckiana Pug Rescue in mind, one of my favorite no-kill animal rescues. It's hand painted with water color underglazes and fired to cone 6.

This bowl is 5 in. wide, and holds about 10 oz. You could use it as a small food bowl, keep your change in it, or hang it on the wall in a proclamation of your pug love.
