"Dreaming among the stars" is an original 5 x 7 acrylic painting on flat canvas board of a woman with her eyes closed, holding a skull as her violet-blue hair streams behind her and dissolves into a cascade of stars.

This painting just sort of grew out of a desire to paint blue and purple hair streaming around a woman's face, but as it developed she starts to assume some Tarot like qualities, and I think she might have elements of Death or the Star. A contemplative, meditative image of mortality and the cosmos. Also, I like stars and purple hair.

An original painting that would make a lovely holiday gift with its icy winter colors, and easy to frame with the standard 5 x 7 size on flat canvas board. Of special interest to pagan/witch/fantasy art lovers.
