Red Orange Rhinestone Hair Comb Vintage Brooch

Description

This is a fun piece, made from a broken vintage red and red-orange rhinestone brooch with faux pearls on a filigree base. Nice for holiday glam, fun for every day wear too.

Accent measures approx. 2 inches wide by 1 3/8 inches tall. The combs/hairpins measure 3 inches long and are gold plated. Overal measure from peak to teeth ends is 3.25 inches.

Good vintage condition, however, several of the scattered pearls are missing most of their coating, and the metal is turning a bit at their bases. If you are looking for pristine vintage this piece is not for you. I like the vintage charm a little age wear offers.

Please Note: My hair combs and bobbies are a bit heavy and best for up-dos. It is best if your hair is fixed in your hair style and then the bobbies or combs are placed in your hair for decoration. These pins should not be used on fine hair to *fix* the hair in place, rather they are placed *in* your hair as decorative accents.

With my bobbies you can expect a small amount of "squeeze out" on the adhesive where the piece is attached to the pad on the backs. Nice strong grip! They are made using vintage costume jewelry and you should expect very good to fine condition on the vintage components. Major flaws will be noted.
