The Bad Sparrow - artist book

Description

This is the smaller digital version of the original The Bad Sparrow scroll, a letterpress printed and hand painted artist book 9" high and 25 feet long when fully extended. With this book, you can hold the entire story in your hand.

The story is about two groups of animals gathering to wage war. They're fighting over something that the sparrow said, but when they arrive to battle, no one can quite remember what they're fighting about. No matter - the machine of warfare cannot be stopped, and the combat continues, even after (spoiler alert!) the sparrow is shot down and killed.

Images are digitally printed using archival inks. Each book is hand bound, and the cover is made from handmade paper by Twinrocker. Printed in a limited edition of 100, each one individually numbered and signed by the artist.
