Lionfish, Paper and Wood Necklace

Description

This necklace is a cropped original print mounted on very thin -only 1/8"- piece of quality salvaged scrap wood. The image features an original illustration depicting New York buildings, including the Empire State Building.

***PLEASE NOTE: I think these necklaces look best hanging just below the collarbone, however neck sizes may vary, so please convo me or make a note when ordering which length you would like.

Measurements include pendant:
Short- 17"
Medium- 18"
Long- 19"

This necklace is incredibly light, and I only use sterling silver chain and rings.

These images are printed by me on my fancy Epson Stylus Photo R2400, on Epson Ultra Premium Presentation Matte Paper, so both the paper and the ink are archival grade.

The print is then mounted with Ph neutral adhesive onto the wood, then triple spray coated with a clear satin protective finish. I also protect the paper by painting a clear matte sealant on any exposed edges.

The necklace will ship wrapped in a plastic sleeve within a padded envelope or small box, re-using whatever clean packaging materials I have collected or saved.

Even though I have taken precautions to ensure the longevity of this piece, please be mindful of the effects direct sunlight or excessive moisture may have on it. (no swimming or showering with it on preferrably!!)
