Carnelian fan, wood and copper necklace

Description

Bold carnelian fans are teamed with wood and pure copper for a rich, burnished statement. An intricately veined serpentine lentil anchors the piece and brings the colors together. A replica I Ching coin is epoxied to the center fan. Matte black Czech glass spacers surround the wood. 6mm copper rounds complete the look.

28" (71.1 cm) long. Center focal station is 3-1/2" (8.9cm) long.

This necklace has a definite Earth Mother-African-Chinese fusion feel! I love taking elements from different cultures and harmonizing into a beautiful new whole.
