Carnelian fan earrings with copper and wood

Description

Bold carnelian fans are teamed with wood and pure copper for a rich, burnished statement. Replica I Ching coins are epoxied to the fan. Wood rectangles on the bottom are lightweight and visually balance the size of the carnelian.

3-1/8" long (8cm) x 1-1/2" wide (3.8cm). Surgical steel hypo-allergenic earwires with copper and brass accents. I can change to clips or screw backs for non-pierced ears.

These earrings have a definite Earth Mother-African-Chinese fusion feel! I love taking elements from different cultures and harmonizing into a beautiful new whole.
