Anchor Hocking Bubble Berry Set with Bonus Pieces

Description

This is a saphire blue berry set by Anchor Hocking Glass. The pattern is Bubble and the set includes a serving bowl, 4 berry bowls and a bonus of 4 6inch bread plates.

It would be perfect for a casual brunch, especially if paired with country blue and white linens and a perky vase of daisies. Bubble was produced by Anchor Hocking beginning in 1941 and as its name implies the pattern is of raised circles throughout the pieces.

This lot consists of an 8 inch serving bowl, 4 4 1/2 inch berry bowls and the 4 6 inch bread plates that could be used as liners for the bowls or for eggs benidict for a casul yet elegant brunch.

The pieces are in very good shape. There are no chips, no cracks or flea bites. The berry bowls are a bit harder to come by in this pattern. AND this is a very sturdy depression glass pattern, making it very serviceable for everyday use. It's soft blue would work well in either a Country or Shabby decor.
