Pesto - sterling silver and fabric necklace
Description
“Pesto is the quiche of the '80s.” -- Nora EphronFrom my series of metal and fabric works.
The color of spring is captured in the window of this fresh necklace. A squarish sterling silver pendant is hand-cut and lightly oxidized to highlight the surprising flash of green silk inside. Sterling backs the pendant, and the layers are connected with a funky combination of silver eyelets and steel bolts. Hip, but not trendy.
Pendant measures approximately 1 1/8” x 1” and hangs from a very cool oxidized sterling oval chain, finished with a lobster clasp. Overall necklace measures approximately 16”.
